European Union (EU) signed a deal with Egypt and Israel to increase liquified natural gas (LNG) sales to EU countries on Wednesday in Cairo. The deal aims to reduce dependency on Russian oil amid Ukraine war. As per deal, Israel will send gas to EU countries via Egypt, which will liquify it for exports via sea, European Commission chief said.
