24th February 2025 marks three years since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Eugene is one of thousands of Ukrainians who have enlisted to defend their country.

Eugene is a keen mountain climber, urban explorer, and ultra-runner. He volunteered as a combat medic 6 hours after the invasion and has held most frontline combat medic positions. He now also trains other medics in the war.
