Manually piloting our ship to create opportune positioning advantages in EVE Online.
To manually pilot your ship to an exact position in space hold "Q" and click on the grid twice.
The first click will set the distance and direction, the second will set the angle of approach.

The idea was to be inconspicuous. When Iotuegli landed the Tristan last saw me at 70km away before engaging and becoming distracted. This time was used to accelerate and cover enough ground.
The general idea remains although please note:
- I was sloppy.
- The Tristan was sloppy. (likely clicked "Orbit" and forgot about the other ships)

I should have:
A- given at least another cycle or two of overheated Afterburner on the initial approach
B- been more on point with my maneuvers to intercept the Tristan's path sooner and more securely
C- activated all of my high-slots at the same time

Why didn't I do this?
Respectively:
A- I expected to use the Afterburner more aggressively if I hadn't caught the Tristan on the first try or the Tristan had started to maneuver away, and I didn't want it to burn out then.
B+C- I was tired. 😔
