tl;dr - just me experimenting with yanking ui scaling one way, and then when i pass Uedama, the other way.

plus the other font options are illustrated as well (right click menu, and overview font toggle to boot)

while spelunking through the dozens of pages of devblogs i find scattered tidbits of useful information, and many things i outright forgot about (especially the chronology of all the changes)
One of those was a devblog about UI scaling that piqued my interest.
