As usual, I took some time to check out what pokemon are spawning in different areas near me and around the country. The event has fire and ice type pokemon spawning all over the place and I wanted to see which pokemon are included on the list. We noticed a ton of Ponyta and Vulpix for the fire type pokemon and the most frequent ice type pokemon were Swinub and a variety of other common pokemon that are water type but evolve into an ice type. Some areas are getting way better spawns than others. The SF Bay Area for example is getting a ridiculous amount of Lapras and no other area that I checked was getting any Lapras at all. I will be headed over there to do my event coverage.
