Well, now you can because Mcdonald's Hong Kong launched its virtual Mcnugget Land with the Sandbox to celebrate its 40th anniversary of the Chicken Mcnuggets menu item.
By playing games and exploring the world, players get to earn free food coupons and Sandbox utility tokens.
Mcdonald's is not the first global brand to have embraced the metaverse with The Sandbox, as the gaming company has partnered up with brands such as Ubisoft, Gucci, Warner Bros and even Adidas.
Despite its infamous reputation, the metaverse is undoubtedly becoming a significant tool for brand-building strategies.
