EverHeart First Look Gameplay Preview - Roguelike aRPG - Indie Game
0This is the first look at my upcoming game, EverHeart, a roguelike aRPG that takes place in a dark fantasy world where necromancy is rules the kingdom, and practice of all other magic is forbidden. More on that story later.
This video exists to show the current state of the game and the foundation that is being laid in order to get feedback. Mostly, the focus of it's current state is the combat system, which includes leveling similar to MOBAs and customizable spells as you level up. It also features the algorithm I'm using to procedurally generate levels using a tile system.
That being said, the inventory and questing system are both temporary. More on those systems in the future. Currently there are temporary systems in place to get the full scope of how the game will run overall.
