Immediately have to say this is based off of this video by blastro 2    • Every JoJo OP But Only When There Is ...
Which also means I'm following their rules. Which is to say ancestry is the only thing that matters, and stands count as the person with the stand.
I was watching it last night, and I was thinking "That looks like that was fun to make. That would be nice simple editing. Just watching through the openings and cutting everything except when there's an italian. I wish I could make that video. But it's already made."
Then I decided I'd just do it but with the other main places characters are from in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Japan and England. It is England specifically in the end sorry Scotland and Wales, it's basically just the Joestar family and like Speedwagon shows up once I think.
I looked REALLY hard for any secret british characters. I was close to including Ermes because the last name, Costello, is I think an English variant of an Irish last name if I understood it right. So like, if there is a white american with a british last name then like, surely that's british ancestry right? But turns out Ermes' father was from Mexico. Which still could have british ancestry but then it's like, okay the last name was just because Araki wanted the last name and he wasn't researching every name he put in to make sure they're British or whatever.
Anyway, I will now explain my potential controversial choices:
For the ones with multiple versions I used the last one mostly because it's just more opening. The other video is a bit silly repeating almost identical openings. Except for Great Days where the final one is mostly the first but in reverse and like I'd rather just have it go normally. Then Heaven's Falling Down is like 50% different so I included the different section.
I am very conflicted over whether recently dropped blood should count. I forget what the rule was in part 4 for returning it to somebody's body. I didn't count it, but like, maybe I should have.
Stone Ocean is over 90% there because Jolyne is visible almost the entire time. Her thread is there for the whole thing. Like I mentioned before I was ready to search the history of some background characters and declare some of them british but there was never a background character visible without Jolyne too.
The pigeon carrying the disc counts as Jotaro because the disc is part of his soul, so it counts as him.
Then in Heaven's Falling Down, for Weather Report's first appearance, it's referring to his backstory where he was not part British. However at the end, and Pucci for all his appearances, they became part British when Pucci absorbed the baby that was formed from the bone of DIO after it absorbed the souls of 36 sinners, and DIO's bone was actually Jonathan's, both are british anyway. ALSO even if I didn't count Pucci, Made in Heaven should obviously count, at least. So the last appearance of Pucci is still valid.

Anyway here's my blog post I put at the bottom of all my descriptions. Sorry it's been so long without a video. There's been a variety of issues I could point to, I'm not sure what the biggest is. But the reason I made this was because I wanted to just make a video. Like I said at the start it seemed fun. If I just made a fun easy video, then that would get me used to editing again. It's been so long since I've edited something I was like worried about it. I'm working on a fear and hunger related video and it should be easy but I'm nervous for some reason. So this will get me over that, I hope. I'm also going to make one of these for Japanese ancestry because that's also a huge portion of the characters. Then the finale will be every jojo OP but only when there isn't someone with Italian, British, or Japanese ancestry on screen. That'll be like... some of the part 2 side characters, the pillarmen, avdol, polnareff, literally nobody from part 4 or 5. Then uh, Ermes, Emporio, and Foo Fighters. Which reminds me I was also hoping I could declare Emporio british but we don't even have a last name so I don't think it's enough.
