April 2nd - Nintendo UK stated that silksong would release on the Switch 2. While other games were announced to have switch and switch 2 releases. Most people didn’t think anything of it. Of course it is coming to switch 2 when announced at the Nintendo direct 2

Also April 2nd – Nintendo released a Silksong press kit to… well the press to include Go Nintendo, Nintendo Life and Cadaea. Really excited that we have someone on the inside!

April 7th – we found that the Nintendo of Japan website was updated with three additional new images! – of course I had to do a full breakdown on that as well

We also found that the “target Body” is the Nintendo Switch 2. This means “It can only be played on Nintendo Switch 2.” – that is two different places stating silksong can only be played on the switch 2.
I reached out to Let to try and verify because lots of other people started asking about this. Primacon got super confused and make a video about it “hollow knight Silksong Switch 2 only??” --- lol JK that was a colab video and I was confused too

April 8th – A trailer was missed by the Silksong community as a Museum in Australia put out a trailer that included Silksong. Specifically the ACMI or The Australian Centre for the Moving Image. They announced “A new playable exhibition is coming to ACMI this September!” it will run from Sept 18th 2025 through Feb 8th 2026. What is interesting is the marketing video includes Hollow Knight Silksong!
