#TheLegendOfZelda is not a series I've ever had much of an interest in. It just didn't seem like something I would enjoy, growing up. However, it always loomed over me, like I would play it eventually, as if it was only a matter of time.
When I met my wife, she couldn't believe that, despite loving #Nintendo games, I had never played Breath of the Wild, one of her favorite games at the time. For years, she'd begged me to play it so we could share in the experience. But I knew that if I was going to delve into Breath of the Wild, I wanted to see where this series started, and how it got to where we are now.
#NES games are notoriously more difficult than modern games, usually due to game design, sometimes clunky controls, and things that don't go explained unless you have the included manual. If you still have it, of course. So... How hard is the original The Legend of Zelda?
