1 Welcome to worlds best videos! We’ve compiled a list of facts about the most amazing group on youtube, Dude Perfect! Let’s get into it!
2 The Dude Perfect channel was created on March 16th, 2009.
3 Originally the group was Tyler being the main person and also included Coby, Cory, and Garrett!
4 The name for the channel was made by the camera guy Sean!
5 He set the camera down and when he noticed Tyler was in frame he was happy about that and said “dude, perfect”.
6 When they went to edit the video the twins had the idea to brand themselves as Dude Perfect!
7 They started betting sandwiches by who can preform the best basketball trick shots.
8 They were eventually recorded at Toney’s ranch and posted to YouTube.
9 Within a week the video had accumulated over 100,00 views!
10 The Dude Perfect channel started to blow up. ESPN contacted the group for a segment and they were featured on ESPN’s first take!
11 Dude perfect then introduced the Panda Mascot!
12 They released their first app in 2011 titled Dude Perfect!
13 Also, Cory authored a book titled “Go Big” which says the secrets the group has used along their history to build their brand.
14 They have worked on collaborative videos with big names like Odell Bekham Jr, Aaron Rodgers, Chris Paul, Russell Wilson, USA Basketball team, Arsenal FC, and Manchester City FC!
15 They currently have a TV show with CMT which aired on the first half of 2016 and its called “The Dude Perfect Show”.
16 In 2009, the group set the world record for the longest basketball shot after shooting from the third deck of Kyle Field.
17 Despite popular belief that their videos are fake. Good Morning America hosted a segment putting their videos to the test.
18 Video editing experts contacted Good Morning America stating that they were unable to find evidence of the tricks being fake!
19 They've aligned themselves with both Charity: Water and Compassion International and for every 100,000 views the video received, Dude Perfect pledged to sponsor a child from Compassion International.
