My Initial Impressions:
Similar to what we in the UK call Bowls, but with a lot more variety.
The devs have nailed the throwing mechanics, but as we played we wished for more locations and layouts.

Bocce Time! is a casual, fun VR recreation of the classic game of Bocce Ball. In it, players throw out a small ball called a pallino and then take turns competing to see which of two teams can get their respective balls closest to it. Only one team can earn points per round, with the first team to reach the max score with a lead of at least 2 points winning the game. The game is simple but very dynamic and always fun with a colorful and charming art style. Bocce Time! supports up to 4 players at a time through crossplay multiplayer between the Quest store and Steam.
Main Features:
Multiplayer — Players can connect to others randomly for 1v1 matches with the Quick Match option, or create and join private rooms of up to 4 players to compete in teams of up to 2 players per team.
Crossplay — Players can easily connect with each other whether they bought the game from the Quest store or Steam thanks to crossplay functionality. Simply join the same private room by name or use the quick match option to be matched up with a random opponent for 1v1.
In-Game Voice Communication — Players can speak to each other with 3D audio in game using their HMD or system microphone.
Single Player Mode — Players can compete against an AI opponent across 3 difficulty levels to unlock additional ball designs for use in both single player and multiplayer matches.
6 Distinct Courts — The game has a half dozen different courts that offer different challenges and cater to different play styles. Some are focused on throws, others on rolling the ball and still others combine both and add obstacles to keep things interesting.
Realistic Physics — The game’s physics are very lifelike, with accurate bounces and ball spin affecting the balls’ trajectories and paths on the ground.
Accessibility — The game has the standard smooth/teleport locomotion options with support for head/controller based locomotion as well as snap and smooth turning with speed options. Beyond that, the colors in game have been selected to accommodate those who may suffer from color blindness, and there are options to modify the throw strength and spin applied to the ball, as well as the option to play one-handed.
