EXO ONE's movement mechanic blends traditional movement methods with gravity manipulation and allows players to roll and slide around on planet surfaces or take to the air and glide. The player controls the alien craft's gravity level in order to build and maintain momentum, sliding down hillsides at high gravity, and then flying up and off into the sky in low gravity. Transform into a glider to gain and maintain altitude and fly through the clouds, then transform back into a sphere upon touch down with the surface.
