DISM Command:
DISM /online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
In case you are unable to perform the steps because system is not booting to windows then please perform the steps provided below:
If system restore point was created before then go ahead with system restore.
Steps to perform system restore-After the restart if you are able to go to the login page then Press the Shift key on the keyboard and while holding the shift key click on restart using the power button on the bottom right of the screen. It will take you to the Windows recovery environment.
In case you are not able to go to the login screen then Power on your computer. As soon as the system manufacturer logo on your screen, press the power button to shut down and interrupt the boot sequence.Try this until the device boots into the recovery environment.
Then Click on Troubleshoot.
Click on Advanced options.
Click on System Restore.
Click the Next button.
Select the restore point prior to the error.
Click the Scan for affected programs button to understand the apps that will no longer be available because they're added after the creation of the restore point.
Click the Close button.
Click the Next button.
Click the Finish button.
Once you complete the steps, the changes causing the problem will be discarded, and then your device should be able to start normally.
If system restore point was not created before then go ahead with startup repair, go to the Windows recovery environment using the steps provided above and then Choose Advanced options.
Here, click on Startup repair.
