Exploring a Sand-Filled House in the Mojave Desert at Night
For the first time since 2021, I went back out to the town of Newberry Springs, which sits just east of Barstow in California, in the Mojave Desert. Please enjoy the little history lesson I give about it. The rest of the town, while sparse, is fully operational & NOT a ghost town. The San Bernardino County government dumped sand in a bad location, which eventually sent that sand blowing straight into the neighborhood at the north end of Newberry Springs. This created such sand problems for the residents on that end of town, that they eventually had to leave and abandon their homes there. Truly something out of a post-apocalyptic film.
