Stumbled across this game today. It's free, it's absolutely weird, and obviously that's right up my alley. It's an open world pvevp mmo set in The Droughts, some sort of purgatory where Skeletons and preserved corpses known as Friends and Cursed Ones fight it out. There's lore, there's intrigue, there's interesting spells, etc.

I strongly recommend checking it out.
