This abandoned mine stinks! Literally! The Stilton Mine, like many abandoned mines, has been abandoned for a long time. Unlike most mines, though, the Stilton Mine has become a home for lots of pack rats and mice. In fact, this was one of the smelliest mines I have been in due to the sheer number of rodents living in it. It was pretty bad!
Galena, lead, silver, and gold were all mined here at one time or another. The mine had an interesting layout with Y-intersections and other branching tunnels. In fact, you'll see in the video where I momentarily got dis-oriented and wasn't sure where the exit was!
