Exploring the Art of the Unfinished | First Time Playing: A Beginner's Guide | COMPLETE
In this let’s play of The Beginner’s Guide, we explore a unique narrative that’s less about gameplay and more about introspection. It’s a story told through unfinished games, each a window into the challenges and mysteries of the creative process. There’s something haunting and relatable about this journey, especially if you’ve ever created something without knowing why. Join me as we uncover the message behind each world, and see how this game speaks to the highs and lows of being an artist.
NOTE: This was originally recorded in December 2019. Re-watching this playthrough (while re-editing) really made a couple moments hit home. Since playing, I have indeed found, and moved to, a place similar to what I mention in the unfinished game with the home surrounded by woods/nature, and the ideas behind the creative process have never become more true as they have in the last 5 years. I've re-edited this playthrough with the help of an AI Silence Remover feature in my video editing software, and tried to get the final result more focused on moving the experience along to the narrative elements of vlog-like thoughts.
