After years of a console focus, Microsoft are taking PC gaming seriously once again; from new software and initiatives such as DirectX 12, Windows 10, Universal Windows Platform to bringing former Xbox One exclusives such as Quantum Break and Gears of War onto the PC. But there’s a growing concern among both developers and gamer’s that Microsoft’s renewed commitment to the PC isn’t the best thing for the platform, and ultimately could lead to the PC gaming market essentially being controlled by Microsoft.
