With a rich maritime history, and a historical society / government set on preserving it’s heritage, Lewes is a throwback to a time long past. Within the town you will find multiple museums, preserved centuries old buildings, multiple lighthouses, a beautiful shopping / dining district, and much more. When visiting, plan to spend at least a full day to explore all there is to see and do.
