Iron Lung's beta branch was recently updated. I'm planning on making a separate video on this in itself but for now I'm only focusing on the update's most noteworthy feature, namely the new computer terminal. David himself stated on the game's Steam page it's not a 'lore bible' but that we still get a glympse of what happened. As an Iron Lung-fan, I couldn't be happier :)
