Exploring the Pac-Man World 2 Website
Back in the day, companies would often have promotional websites to tie in with the incoming releases of their video games. In Namco's case, they've had plenty of those, including for a few Pac-Man titles. Pac-Man World 2 and Pac-Man Fever had Flash websites created by Beck Interactive, and both featured poppy, fun visuals and interactivity for the viewer. They even also had minigames you could play.
The Pac-Man World 2 website in particular is near and dear to my heart. I've had many fond memories of exploring the site as a kid.
Unfortunately, since it's long gone and one can only go off of Wayback Machine archivals of the website pages even when going around the death of Flash, not every single little thing has been retained. For this video, I added music from the actual game in places where the website would have played them. I don't 100% remember the shortened loops of the tracks, but I definitely remember what songs were played. I also couldn't show you the larger images or video clips because those are missing as well.
Still, the website has otherwise been nicely preserved by those that contributed to Wayback.
