We explore and snoop out most of what is remaining in the town, as well as finding some old friends from the previous game. Unfortunately, these 'friends' have some of the worst memory in the Monkey Island world and they cannot remember the great pirate Guybrush Threepwood. But at least they give us something to do to begin our journey, even if it is busywork.

And we also see a bit more of Popeye [Largo LeGrand] as we visit the local tavern. He is a tough sounding little guy, but I feel there is more to him than meets the eye, and there is a connection between him and the Dread Pirate LeChuck.
