This video contains spoilers for Westworld.

Season 1 of HBO's Westworld tells a familiar science fiction story, but at the same time is so much more than that. Taking inspiration from creation mythology, specifically Christianity, the show explores the ever evolving and complex relationship between man and machine. What does it have to say about human nature? Well, it's not pretty.

Westworld is based on the 1973 Michael Crichton film of the same name. It stars Evan Rachel Wood, Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, and James Marsden. It is created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
