Demolitionist is one of the most underrated perk in highest difficulty. Some people are even 'hostile' to any explosion. Main reason of it is the perk highly relies on team composition and teamwork. Not like GS, SS solo combo, Demolition MUST have tanker in squad, who can protect Demo and keep large zeds from camp site. Without tanker, the perk is nothing but such a damn calamity maker.
Another reason is, people tend to underestimate its difficulty and importance of combo all the times. Spamming rocket launcher mindlessly is easiest way to kill your teammate, also yourself. Good demolition always think twice before pulling trigger, as he knows very well that just one shot can make all the difference, or screw up everything.
Demolition has its own combo, just like other perk. Landing headshot with rocket projectile is so so trciky, but it's worth to practice. Here's the combo guide which is made by 'Duck, the Quack demolitionist'.
