5haven't played this game since it was released in 2008. the rpcs3 emulator is awesome (simple installation described below) playing with one of the default mechs that you start the game with so not really optimal, but could still complete a third mission without any apparent bugs. have to say AC4:FA is legit playable with rspc3 emulator, even on an mid to low tier pc system.
we are using a crt filter in this video (also linked below) to create the effect of playing on an old tv screen. this is done purely in windows 10 and can be set up in multiple ways. with that said; rpcs3 has massive amounts of built in options for different graphic settings within the emulator. using the extra filter is mainly because of the added atmosphere.

easy steps to AC4:FA running (win10):
- download and install rpcs3 emulator
- download and install ps3 bios from sony
- find or rip your own copy of AC4:FA for ps3
- enable write color buffer box in gpu settings
(this is seriously how easy it was to get working)
