- Final Boss in the game.. again both Cheria and Sophy teamup to take her down along with the manly bodyguards ... Manliks!
Fodra Queen has 2 Phases which she switches at certain HP%s.
Each Phase have its own set of weakness (which is why you see me switch Maliks's skills every phase).
I only aimed for the most effective skills rather than using all skills to exploit all weakness because of the fact she can break out of combos hence I don't really get Full Weakness hits much.
{ Defense Phase }
While in Flower Form, majority of her attacks are AEs. Most are easy to dodge. The biggest thing is the less HP she has, the easier it is for her to break down your defense even if you're blocking.
Her Defense Form is the easiest in terms of placing status effect on her (since all her weakness are Elemental type which has elemental weakness like Burn, Freeze, Paralyze, Petrify).
Two spells I use are Cluster Raid and Ray Disruption. It hits for a lot (making it easier to stagger), has great accuracy (doesn't miss much if enemy moves) and gives the Petrify effect (free damage for a long time).
If you don't like Petrify spells you can go for something cool like Freeze which does the same thing.. although Ice spells are harder to aim since the radius is smaller to hit.
{ Offense Phase }
She comes out of the flower and goes offensive with spells like Thunder Blade, Burst Blade, etc.
This Phase is a lot harder because she alternate targets two characters (P1 and P2 slots) and if either one dies it goes after the next slot (P1/P2 and P3).
All her attacks can be Perfect Dodged easily (just backstep) BUT the risk is sometimes her attack will break through your defense and you can take major damage or die.
Thunder Blade and Burst Blade are the easiest to Perfect Dodge while the others I would rather avoid entirely due to larger risks.
I use Vanish Flow because of the high stagger and hit rate, plus the fact Humanoid is now one of her weakness in Offense Phase.
{ General Info }
- Pretty much try to deal as much damage during Defense Phase since if you keep one melee to pressure her, she'll back away usually from everyone, giving your casters lots of time to nuke her.
- The lower her HP is, the more powerful her attacks get (to the point she just one shots Cheria...). Also her attacks will alter slightly (like Thunder Blade shoots three waves instead of one).
- Her Hi-Ougi is Aquarius Sphere, which overkills your HP BUT does not kill you but rather drops your HP to 1. Instant Nurse with Time Stop helps to assure you don't get instant kill from her AE attacks especially in her Defense Form.
- She uses "Dual the Sun" at near death.. BUT there is an awesome hidden Easter Egg that if you hold certain buttons during "Dual the Sun", she'll use all extensions to the finale "Blue Earth"!
Note failing to finish to Blue Earth when you use her Extensions will be instant Game Over.
