F-Zero GX: Sapphire Cup (Expert w/Custom Machine)
3Y'know, the Sapphire Cup may be my least favorite Cup in GX. In it, I only really like 1 track; I'm either indifferent towards or straight-up dislike the rest. That may be because I'm horribly out of practice, but I'm pretty sure I didn't like these tracks when I was doing Time Trials either. Plus, the Custom Machine I used was much heavier than I'd liked.
Big Blue Drift Highway: I was never really good at this track. I was actually surprised that I won the race. I felt that I wasn't getting a perfect run, and I think this would be one of the blemishes.
Port Town Aero Dive: The only track in the Sapphire Cup that I like racing on. The dives are fun, but unfortunately for me, the Custom Machine ruined the run from being better. Sucks to be me.
Green Plant Mobius Ring: I feel nothing when I race on this track. I'm proud of getting those mine boosts at Lap 1, though. Also, Fun Fact: This Track is the only track where I beat the Staff Ghost in one attempt. And if you raced and beat the Staff Ghosts in F-Zero GX, then you know how hard they can be.
Port Town Long Cylinder: This track is so meh to me. Pretty unforgettable and unremarkable. When I raced against the Staff Ghost, I almost had a Mobius Ring, but I hit one of the obstacles at the end of the track on the final lap, and I never got as close as I did then. I'm still bitter about that experience, and that was years ago.
Mute City Serial Gaps: My least favorite track in the entire game. One of the few tracks where I don't have the chance to beat the Staff Ghost and the only track I haven't done a Time Trial for. And then you add me being out of practice and using that heavy Custom Machine, and you get what happened in the footage. Also, in Mute City and Big Blue, you can use a code to gain the ability to play the classic versions of the respective track themes. So I did it here, and when I get the chance to race on Big Blue again, I'll do it there.
I'll use one of the default Machines in the Emerald Cup, don't worry. Now get back to watching the vid!
