F1 2018 Game: 1982 McLaren MP4/1B Monaco Sprint | Xbox One X
In memory of the sad passing of the 3 time World Drivers' Champion and #F1 legend Niki Lauda, xo0OMattyO0ox races around the Circuit de Monaco in Niki's 1982 McLaren MP4/1B in a single class sprint race against a full field of C3 class cars with their AI set to Ultimate 110% difficulty.
This famous machine was the car in which he famously returned to the sport alongside teammate John Watson, finishing 5th in the Drivers' Championship with McLaren-Ford missing out on the Constructors' Championship by a mere 5 points to Ferrari in a closely fought season that was ultimately taken by Keke Rosberg for Williams-Ford. Two years later Niki would go on to win the 1984 World Drivers' Championship in an evolution of this car, the Marlboro McLaren-TAG MP4/2, which ran the V6 TAG-Porsche turbo engine rather than the MP4/1's Cosworth DFY V8, securing McLaren's fourth Constructors' title in partnership with Alain Prost.
