F1 Manager EA: Compatibility with Windows 10 Tutorial
*16/4/20 NOTE - The video has gone up rapidly in views in the last few days (not sure why!) but this tutorial is to help those of you who ALREADY OWN the game. This video does NOT INCLUDE A FREE DOWNLOAD LINK! I don't endorse any of that stuff... so go out & buy the game, then come back. Happy F1 managing :)
Today's tutorial shows you how to get EA's F1 Manager game working on Windows 10 systems. I can't guarantee that this will work for everyone, but fingers crossed it does work! Feel free to leave a comment, and I'll try to help if you're struggling.
UPDATE AS OF 2020: GameCopyWorld seems to be a little dodgy these days, so I've decided to upload the .exe file to a host website myself. You can download it here: https://mega.nz/file/rMQSUbqY#RYkMGoBrLYD-y3FtKLb-iTRmTUOOQ3q96OW-NMOGz08
Any issues, do not hesitate to leave a comment. The download includes all relevant files, including d3drm.dll if you should have an issue with that. Happy F1 managing!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1: Install the game by using the setup application. Do not autorun or do anything else before installation.
2: After installation, follow this link: http://gamecopyworld.eu/games/pc_f1_manager.shtml
3: Download the .exe file
4: Replace the original application file in the program files folder.
5: Go to Properties: Compatibility of the new application file. Tick run as administrator AND compatibility mode for Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
6: Start the game.
7: If the game says that you need 'd3drm.dll', then just download from this link and place in the program files folder, like the .exe file: https://www.dll-files.com/d3drm.dll.html
