According to the game director The Last of Us Factions 2 is still coming and he is still working on it. Those hoping for TLOU Factions 2 to release may get their wish in the future. Many of us thought that we were going to see The Last of Us Factions 2 cancelled.

There are also rumors about The Last of Us 3 being in active development as well as The Last of Us 2 Factions being "on ice". We have also heard that The Last of Us 2 Remastered may be happening, but I think it will likely be a Director's Cut.

An untitled The Last of Us game is in development by Naughty Dog. A multiplayer game set in the world of The Last of Us, the game is a follow-up to the Factions multiplayer mode featured in the 2013 video game.
