Developed by yeo, the long awaited, (at least for me), Fading Afternoon has arrived. It's hard to review the game, since there isn't much you can compare it to. The pixel art, the game vibe, the city and amount of things you can do are simply unparalleled. Presentation in spades, although, there's a but, because there's always one; you can't explore as freely as you think. This makes the game frustrating because of how good it is. Your main character is dying, and he will keep dying, whether you are enjoying the game or not, forcing you, once again, to repeat the same tedious things over and over.
This is not a mechanic I see as necessary, and only retracts from what could be a perfect game.
I recommend it, as I do recommend you to check this devs other game, but keep in mind what I said; no matter if you like the game or not, it will I inevitably end.
