This is a little gameplay video from the Commodore-64 version of "The Faery Tale Adventure." The Tombs of Hemsath is the most fiendish part of the game as there is no map to consult aside from walkthroughs, and getting lost in this maze is quite easy if you simply wander around and open doors at random. I added this mostly because the last few times I've played this game, I've actually become lost when I was looking for the quest items in the Tombs.

If you're not interested in spending almost 20 minutes watching, the statue lies northeast in the maze (although a bit more east than north) and the bones lie to the east, where you'll discover a large room with half a dozen coffins before finding the coffin of "The Ancient King"

A few more details:

I made the video silent and added the music as it could get quite tiring having to listen to a pair of 1 minute loops tunes for 20 minutes. There's also the matter of the Commodore-64's version having a lot of disk access, where the game freezes for 2-5 seconds, which I've tried my best to clip out.

Finally, although the graphics and interface vary from port to port, the maps are identical, and you will likely not have to "finesse" your way past the doors the way I did. This does mean, however, to make sure your stockpile of gold and red keys are sufficient before taking on this quest.
