The writing was on the wall for 'Dragon's Lair'-ish FMV video games a full decade before Fahrenheit, one of the best sega cd games, came out, but what are you gonna do with a CD-ROM peripheral for the Genesis but make cheesy 'choose-your-path' moviegames like the Fahrenheit Sega CD game.

Still, Fahrenheit isn't half bad. It might be damning with faint praise, but it actually is one of the best Sega CD games. This video represents the first level, with our hero The Rookie racing against a dwindling oxygen supply to rescue a woman from a blazing house fire.
