Fairlight (1985) Playthrough - Full Game
This is my Fairlight playthrough.
This is one of the first computer games I ever played. My first microcomputer was a ZX Spectrum 48k, and I think I was about ten or eleven years old. I got the 'Horace' games and Chequered Flag with the computer, but my cousin made me a tape with Manic Miner, Way of the Exploding Fist, a game that was like Buck Rogers that I can't remember the name of, Project Future, and FAIRLIGHT!
Though Knight Lore came before and indeed 3d Ant Attack (Alien 8 came out in the same year as Fairlight, but I'm not sure which was released first), Fairlight was the first isometric adventure I ever played.
One thing on this playthrough that drove me mad, was how the music would cut and go to a different part with every screen... so while editing I muted the gameplay, recorded the track unbroken, and reapplied it to make the music continuous.
