:::::: ESSENTIAL CONTROLS ::::::

5.11 Flight Stick...
"First trigger detent." Lase.
"Second trigger detent." Cannon.
"Weapon Release (Pickle)." Releases weapons.
"TMS up." This locks onto targets using your radar.
"TMS down." Unlocks a target.
"ANT ELEV Knob - Tilt Down". Lowers FCR radar altitude display.
"ANT ELEV Knob - Tilt Up". Raises FCR radar altitude display.
"CMS Up". Run current countermeasure program.
"DMS down." Switches sensor of interest. e.g. from one MFD to another.
"NWS A/R DISC MSL STEP SWITCH". Engages/disables nosewheel steering while on the ground. In the air tapping will switch between weapon stores. Holding will switch to different weapons.

6.01 Other Cockpit Callbacks...
"Wheel Breaks - hold.". Engages breaks.

2.17 Left Side Wall
"LEFT WALL: SLAP SWITCH (ECM-PRGM #5)". Engages program 5. I recommend a single flare for this program.

2.19 Throttle Quadrant System
"RDR Cursor - Up/Left/Right/Down." Assign to a HAT - is shift + arrow keys by default.

"TMS right." Cycles between radar contacts of a group on FCR in TWS mode.

"LG Handle - Toggle". Gear toggle. G key.

6.02 Shortcuts...
"SHORT: Next Waypoint". Next steerpoint. x
"SHORT: Previous Waypoint" Previous steerpoint. z
"SHORT: Toggle Jammer". Turn jammer on/off - makes you more visible on radar but harder to lock onto. J.

6.01 Other Cockpit Callbacks...
(MULTIPLAYER ONLY) "CKPIT: Smoke Toggle". Useful to know, makes your exhaust into a visible smoke trail. Useful for showing people where you are. left ctrl-s.

2.19 Throttle Quadrant System...
"TQS: SPD BREAK SWITCH - Open". Toggles speed break. shift-b
"TQS: Dogfight Switch - DF Override". Switch into/out of dogfight mode. D
"TQS: MAN Range Knob - Uncage". Uncages (frees) seeker head on sidewinder, and reveals thermal view on mavericks. U.
"TQS: Comms Switch Left (IFF Out)". Hold to start datalink - used to be right ctrl-o in 4.32. delete
"TQS: Comms Switch Right (IFF In)". Used to share data over datalink. Page down.
(MULTIPLAYER ONLY) "TQS: Comms Switch Up (UHF)". Transmits over IVC on the UHF radio. Home.
(MULTIPLAYER ONLY) "TQS: Comms Switch Down (VHF)". Transmits over IVC on the VHF radio. End.


3.05 Gear Panel
"Gear: EMER Stores Jettison Button". Jettison all stores except air to air missiles. Very useful for when you are fired upon and need to act defensively. ctrl-j

7.01 View General Control
"VIEWGEN: Look Closer Toggle". Zooms your eye view onto whatever you are looking at. L.
