3new cover! what fun. i was so excited to release it that i put out the tiktok about it before actually uploading it here lol.

a short while back i put out a meme video where i mashed up the instrumental of this song with the vocals of "the town inside me," bridget's theme from guilty gear strive. evidently that must've stuck with me because i found myself playing this tune in my head over and over to the point where i had to cover it for real. it was a lot of fun!
the big challenge for this cover was the backing vocals, which were just close enough to the top of my range to be difficult to sing. i had to take a break at one point to avoid straining my voice. despite this, i like to think i did a good job at it! it was at least a little easier than, say, you'll never walk alone since this punk style came with a little more breathing room. nevertheless, let me know what i ought to improve on if you have the knowledge.
(note: this isn't my song, obviously. this song belongs to rancid, the band. go and listen to the original, it's a good time. promise.)
