Yes - F2 companions have the ability to carry unlimited stuff via the carry weight bug

In this video, Skynet is already overloaded. So Ronn tells him to stay and wait

Next Ronn uses Barter to transfer all of his character’s items to Skynet

Then he gets Skynet back into the team and they all move out happily – lolz

Gameplay Notes

This technique is great for picking up ALL the loot after various encounters. Also for taking ALL of the items in many areas (no need to go back and forth in order to get em all)

the so-called "Companion Carry Weight glitch" (bug)

Cautionary advice - your allies are liable to glitch too when super overloaded with stuff (e.g. won't trade in the normal way). But there are ways around that --- especially if you're well-versed in F2, like me

What’s incredibly hilarious is that a single companion can carry stuff so much more than what the car can hold - haha, lolz
