Fallout 2 - EVIL Character Playthrough - Part 7 - 3/07/2018
Started today off trying to convince Vic to kill one of the guards in cold blood...but no luck. Looks like when critters run away, most NPC's won't attack them anymore...except maybe Sulik.
Then I shot a door...
Went back down to the bottom level of Vault 15 and picked up some information I needed to complete the quest for Tandi, then I tried killing the spy in Tandi's office, with surprising results as I was able to attack-walk to the exit grid without being harassed by the guards...until I the next map loaded up and they started shooting me again :P
Turned in the quest to Tandi, who sent me to Gunther to collect my reward. Unfortunately finishing the quest gave me 25 Karma and an extra 5 for finding the spy...not good for an evil character, so I planted the spy disk on Feargus (the spy), and called it a day :P
Found a weird infinite Negative Karma loop when talking to Hoss, Tandi's son...then I murdered him and nobody cared? Weird how you can kill the spy on Tandi's council and everybody is after you, but her son is such a douche that everybody looks the other way :P
Talked to Merk and picked up the "Kill the Hubologist" quest, but apparently you can't kill them using regular weapons...the guards come running. Dynamite may work, but I opted for good ol' fashioned Super Stimpack assassination...after picking up the "Deliver Hubologist's field report to AHS-9" quest, and it looks like that's all the quests that Merk will give you.
Apparently slavers go to bed early, and I couldn't even wait in his office 'till the next day :( Picked up the "Get the map for Vortis the slaver" quest, and delivered it. Vortis gave me a second quest to eliminate all the safe-houses and I started working on that.
Vic pulled some baller bullet dodges during a random encounter, then I headed to Redding.
Completely forgot that Radaway has a timed effect that removes 50 rads after 2 hours and 75 after 4 hours, so I used up half my radaway in one go...not that it matters much because there really isn't that much radiation in Fallout 2 (or the original Fallout for that matter).
Cleared out the Wanamingo's from the mine...looks like Vic won't even shoot aliens that are running away...then I heard about a flame animation related to molotov cocktails that was supposed to be added into the RP mod, so I went to Klamath to pick one up.
Once I was there, one of the chat was awesome enough to tell me you could PUNCH DOORS DOWN! So I spent some time in Klamath just PUNCHING DOORS :P
Got back to Redding to test the Molotov Cocktails, but it looks like they don't do any extra fire damage against Wanamingo's, although the explosion definitely looks a lot cooler XD
Finished up the evening by returning to NCR and picking up the "Take care of Officer Jack for Mira" quest. Discovered a way to sneak into NCR proper without having to go through the gate :P, then I let Jack blow himself up and tried killing Dorothy during the aftermath to see what happens...but the whole town hates you so I reloaded. And I inadvertently found a way to save Dorothy by pissing her off and running away to get her to follow you before the place explodes...but I didn't follow through :(
Anyway, returned to Mira for the reward of...an H&K-P90c. Oddly, no Karma for this quest, either positive or negative.
