Fallout 2 Jinxed Build - Modoc Gold Watch part 2 - 1/12/2019
After the internet cut out and I restarted the stream, I had a discussion about how the flame dance animation plays when you don't die to a critical failure with the flamer, but doesn't play when you do @_@. Weird bugs in this game :P
Bess helped fight off a bunch of angry dogs who were attacking her fellow cows, which I did not expect to see. Finished up the Gold Watch quest and returned the watch to Farrel, while using the barer trick to keep it :)
Made my way back up to Vault City where I proceeded to test the effect of explosives on certain locked containers, only to be blocked by scripted NPC's. Then I took my 10 Luck character build over to the Parlor Room and drank 100 synthahol at the cost of 2000 caps, to get the Alcohol Raised hit points II perk at 1:24:00.
Then I walked over to Dr. Andrew after making my NPC's invisible and, after some script discussion, rode the autodoc until it game me +2 Max HP, and -2 Max HP at about 2:17:00. Then I demonstrated how having +2 Max HP perk causes the game to crash because the perk script points to the wrong message (points to the Alcohol Raised Hit Points perk instead).
Finally, I picked up Cassidy as an NPC and returned to New Reno to make all of my invisible NPC's visible again.
