Once leaving the vault head directly to the Santurary and activate it's work bench.
When activated, scrap as much Wood and Steel. About 500 in total.
Once done, craft a bed and sleep for bonus xp [Well Rested perk] and take any mentats or intellegence boosting outfits.
Once all is applied go to a empty spot and spam fences or walls.
You should easily be able to hit around 300-500 XP in a minute or less.
