20GLOWING SEA CAVERN PLAYER BASE by nairae; this weeks Fallout 4 mod highlight covers a player home that will help make your stay in the Glowing Sea... a lot more comfortable. A few weeks ago we covered another player home by this awesome mod author on 30 Second Mods. However, this week we cover another fantastic player home but this one is based in the glowing sea. As per usual it has everything you need to survive (particularly as it's in the glowing sea). I like how this mod adds a bit of challenge with it's location, it's something you have to work towards. YTou can't just go charging straight from Vault 111 to the base.
This mod isn't as cluttered as some of the other mods nairae has done. But they have really taken into consideration the location and scarcity of supplies. I really enjoy this mod, I'd love to see it get some more attention.

The glowing sea, a harsh radiation filled environment in which only the toughest and meanest of creatures can survive. A place that is visited only rarely by the player unless they have a death wish or long to bathe in the warmth of atoms glow.
However, this week we have a mod that may make your visit to the glowing sea a lot more comfortable.
Welcome to the Glowing Sea Cavern Player Base by nairae. As some of you may remember we recently covered another of nairae's mod's called Survivalist's Cellar Hideout. And they have now released this new player home and kinddly asked me to take a look.
So this player home is located in the root cellar of the Forgotten Church out in the terrifying glowing sea. However when you eventually get there if you haven't already been turned into a ghoul that is, you will be greatly rewarded. The Glowing Sea Cavern is a radiation free, safe haven, perfect for taking your mind off the horrors that await you when you eventually return to the wasteland. The mod author does warn that when you do try to leave for the first time you will be greated with a not so friendly face (however this is vanilla, so don't worry, the mod author wasn't just being mean).
Anyway back to our happy place. So similarly to the Survivalist's cellar hideout, this player home follows the same small and cramped theme which I love. Everything seems reasonable and considering whoever built the cellar originally, trying to have a giant underground palace probably would have been an impossible task. However, despite the small size, this base comes with a tonne of places to stuff your junk, with all workbenches having connected storage. In regards to the workbenches themselves, we have a chemistry station, cooking pot and working sink, your standard weapon and armor benches and two power armor stations. Now at first glance you'd wonder why there's two of these. But the mod author has done this to make it easier for you to deal with both your own, and your companions armour. And speaking of which, the base is fully navmeshed so feel free to throw a party with all your companions!
So unfortuantely this home doesn't have a workbench to build to your hearts content. However I personally don't think it needs it. Everything you need to survive is right here already.
