This episode we learn the basics of town crafting in Fallout 4. In case you've never played a sandbox game before, they can be intimidating at first, however after you've played around with it, you'll find yourself putting may hours in just to build up your own custom town.
Key notes:
Start with a little food, water, and beds, no need to go for the high end stuff. Once you have the minimum requirements, create a few scavenging stations while NPCs will collect junk for you.
Also, slowly start increasing security and build a wall around your perimeter. Much later on, random Supermutant attacks will occur, and these may result in the death of your settlers.
