Fallout 4: Never Leave The Vault Challenge is a bit weird. If you haven't seen Never Leave Sanctuary, I highly recommend you go see that first as this'll make more sense. The goal is to create an entirely self-sufficient society inside of Vault 88 and leave only when I absolutely have to. It relies heavily on the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC as well as a series of very specific settlement mods, and generally wouldn't work otherwise. It's fun, relaxing, and overall a very pleasant experience, even if it is a bit tedious at times.

Disclaimer: I leave Vault 88 a lot early on for the initial Vault quest, but otherwise am planning on spending my time entirely within its confines.

The Origin:

The Fallout 4 Never Leave Sanctuary Challenge was something I heard about a long time ago on PC Gamer's website: http://www.pcgamer.com/playing-fallout-4-without-ever-leaving-sanctuary/ - where one of the journalists made a goofy looking homebody and never ever left Sanctuary- using the available resources, some item spawning tricks, trading, and so forth to create a completely self-sufficient town out of Sanctuary- without setting foot outside, ever. It's pretty unique, and completely denies the main point of Fallout 4, which is exactly why I want to give it a try!
