**NOTE** Each video contains a brief recap of the previos quest plus this video has been revised to include the path through Kerwood mine to get to Mike and the amount of caps spent on the stolen weapons for the settlers.
In our last quest, Property rights, Knight Shin discovers that a cache of stolen Brotherhood of Steel weapons have been stolen. Knight Shin tells you to visit a Makeshift Vault to discover the source.
You are introduced to Pierce at the Makeshift Vault and strikes a deal with you and Knight Shin to meet up at the Crater. Knight Shin tells you to go on to Crate while he rounds up the rest of the weapons.
Pierce tells you there’s no chance he will ever help the Brotherhood of Steel. Before you have a chance to leave, Sheena tells you to speak with her.
In your conversation with Sheena, she tells you that the Settlers of Foundation also have a cache of Brotherhood weapons. You return back to Knight Shin and forwards you on to Paladin Rahmani.
When you speak with Rahmani, she tells you that the Brotherhood needs to establish trade with the settlers of Foundation. She tells you that you have to retrieve the cache of weapons and also establish a trade deal.
To the brotherhood of steel, both tasks are equally important.
Paladin Rahmani tells you to meet with Gloria Chance, the supervisor of Foundations supply room an work out a deal for trade and determine whether they have seen the cache of weapons Sheena spoke about.
When you arrive at Foundation, the supply room can be found on the second deck.
Once you are in the supply room, you will speak with Gloria where she tells you that the weapons you are looking for are out being tested at the moment. Your map marker will update to East Mountain Lookout.
When you arrive at East Mountain Lookout, you will see the obvious crater left behind from a powerful weapon. Several bodies are lying around. You will notice a computer terminal.
When you access the terminal, you will notice a section that is password protected.
The ultra secret encrypted password can be found in Mike’s backpack just a few feet away from the terminal. Grab the password and access the terminal again. Your map maker will update again to Kerwood Mine.
Once you arrive at Kerwood mine, you will come across Mike standing behind a fenced in area. He looks distraught and afraid. Your dialog will try to set him at ease but in the end, you have to find your way around.
The easiest way around is by falling down this mine shaft. Once you hit the bottom, there will be a filing cabinet with the Kerwood mine key inside of it. Now would be a good time to pick this up, otherwise moving forward is in vain.
Once (or walk) through the murky waters and you have fought off all of the mole miners, you find your way into the area where Mike is located.
When you speak with Mike, you are given the option to attack a couple of times. I didn’t attack on this play through however, I feel like even though you could kill him, the end result would still be the same.
Once you have talked with Mike and picked up the stolen cache of weapons. You will once again return back to Foundation and speak with Gloria Chance.
In your conversation with Gloria, she will tell you that she can not give up the weapons because of the caps that were invested in them. I followed the dialog tree down where I ended up recouping the caps for Foundation.
That’s the path of least resistance and I had the extra caps to spare.
Finally, you will return back to Paladin Rahmani where you’ll turn in the quest.
