Fallout 76 Wastelanders - Part 5 - Assembling A Rather Strange Team!
Wastelanders continues as we work with Paige and the settlers of Foundation to create a team strong enough to breach Vault 79. But each problem is going to take a different specialist and it takes us all over Appalachia and introduces some factions we thought were long dead.
The Fallout 76 Wastelanders update released on April 14th 2020 and is the third major update following Wild Appalachia and Nuclear Winter. Wastelanders changes Fallout 76 in a big way not only with new locations but existing locations have been added too with the biggest addition being the people have flooded into the Wasteland. These differ from Raiders, Settlers, The Mothman Cult and many more exciting characters with their own stories to tell.
Wastelanders features an all-new main questline that fits in with the existing storyline, But if the player wants can ignore the existing storyline with only one catch a Level 20 Cap that the player must hit before starting the second stage of wastelanders. (The Wayward questline is available from the start of the game) The plot revolves around the "Big One", A treasure that is responsible for everyone coming back to search for it. The Player can choose from the two factions available to help search for it however it will result in a point of no return when the finale is reached.
Wastelanders also brings a big list of bug fixes as well as plenty of new weapons, Armours, CAMP items, Daily quests, Sidequests, Companions and many other additions that breath life back into Appalachia. The Fallout 3 style dialogue has returned as well with SPECIAL checks with old characters such as MODUS and Rose receiving new dialogue options as well.
