A shorter video from me detailing what I have been doing in Sancuary over the past few weeks - no, the building didn't take that long, but gathering the several hundred units of wood and steel did.

Welcome, to Fort Sanctuary. It is a motte and bailey style fort, using whatever materials are to hand, and the houses as extra wall components. While for a true motte and bailey, the motte would be further down the hill, that would have taken up far more materials than I have the patience to gather, and still would have hit the same height at the back of the zone - alas, Fallout 4 is not great about building on slopes and making it look natural.
