I noticed there aren't many Melee build guides here on YouTube so I decided to make one.

I'll try to explain SPECIAL point allocations by using annotations and perks here on Description box. This is by no means Perfect Step-By-Step Perk Guide, just a rough guideline what I'd recommend picking on each level up:


Level / Perk. Asterisk denotes a GREAT PERK:
2: Confirmed Bachelor/Black Widow *
4: Educated *
6: Comprehension
8: Super Slam *
10: Bloody Mess / Demolition Expert
12: Piercing Strike *
14: Stonewall / Demolition Expert
16: Action Boy / Demolition Expert
18: *FREE PICK*
20: Ninja/Grim Reaper's Sprint/*FREE PICK*, depends what perks you've picked so far.
22: *FREE PICK*
24: Slayer *
26: *FREE PICK*
28: *FREE PICK*
30: *FREE PICK*

Perks that could work:
Rad Child: Steep requirements skill-wise, but health regen is VERY useful for close range characters. Even with Minor Rad poisoning you'll gain +2 HP every second
Rapid Reload: If you like Missile Launcher this'll speed up reloading considerably
Toughness: Extra DT never hurts, but Stonewall is better IMO
Strong Back: More carry weight ain't bad, but probably not worth a perk
Hit the Deck: If you're reckless with explosives this might be worth taking

Perks I'd avoid:
Purifier: I know many people like this, but it seems bit redundant. I've never had trouble with Ghouls, Centaurs or Spore Plants, there aren't that many Super Mutants ingame and I'd rather not go toe-to-toe with Nightstalkers and Deathclaws.
Finesse: Great perk, but since you're not relying on Crits this one is quite useless.
Action Boy/Math Wrath: You're not using VATS enough get any use out of these perks. Much better for gunner or Unarmed.
