Vault-Tec existed as early as 2031, when it acquired and re-branded Morgantown's local college as Vault-Tec University. The company could be older than this and they may have even gone by another name, we don’t know. But we do know that in the early 2050’s, thanks to The Euro-Middle Eastern War, The New Plague and The collapse of The United Nations, The US Government set Project Safehouse in motion.
