Fan Theory: Marked For Death [Life is Strange]
2,927A fan theory for Life is Strange. Dana, Kate, Courtney, and Alyssa all seem to be heading towards a horrible fate. The same path Rachel Amber and Chloe Price seem to have met.
Marked For Death
Remember how I said that Chloe has to die in order to prevent the hurricane? If you didn’t watch those videos, this wont make sense so just go watch them if you want to.
I think that if Chloe doesn’t die, it results in Courtney, Alyssa, and Kate dying. And maybe Dana. Hold on, let me explain why.
These girls all wear black and white with a small dash of blue. A very particular shade of blue that I have covered before as being directly linked to Chloe.
Courtney has a black and white shirt with a small pendant with blue feathers. Allysa is wearing a grey and black shirt with a blue bra. Kate is wearing black and white and has a pale blue marker near her in her first appearance. I think she might also be wearing a blue undershirt.
Dana wears black and white as well and if you look closely at her eye shadow, it’s blue. On a side note, Courtney and Alyssa have purple hair, while Dana has that exact same color purple in her wrist band. I’m just trying to point out a theme between these girls because I very much think they are linked. I have an idea as to what purple represents, but not enough evidence to back it up properly. [sex]
There is one other living person who wears black and white with a small dash of blue, and that is Mr. Jefferson. And I would like to point out that Mr. Jefferson is a creep. It took me a while to figure out why, but I soon realize after looking around a bit.
The majority of his photography is of young women and girls in provocative situations. They are either wearing black and white, or in a black and white picture. Of the pictures that are colored, all have that little highlight of blue.
And who are the people that are dead? Rachel Amber wears black and white with a dash of blue, and she is assumed dead. They say “missing” but by this point she is probably dead. When Chloe dies, she is also wearing all black and white with a dash of blue. She’s wearing a black jacket to cover up her colorful tattoo. So the only color she has in this scene is blue.
I know I usually have a lot more evidence to back up my theories, but this one just gives me a gut feeling. That the people who wear black and white are associated with death, and the dash of blue connects them to chloe’s death. And because Chloe did not die, they will die. I think this because Chloe not dying causes chaos. I also think that Mr. Jefferson is somehow associated with all this. Or he dies too. I don’t know he’s just gross.
